English: Tees Cottage Pumping Station. Also called Broken Scar although I believe that is better reserved for the site on the opposite side of the main road. This is operated by enthusiasts and contains a beam engine and a large gas engine. This was a popular open day. The brick structures on the side of the building are WWII blast walls to protect the air vessels within.
