Description Lot 11568-12: Casablanca Conference, French Morocco, 14-24 January 1943. Brigadier General William H. Wilbur, upon whom the President Franklin D. Roosevelt had just affixed the Medal of Honor for gallantry in making contact with the French that led them to cease firing on the Americans who had landed in North Africa.
