Notes
English: In the 18th-century it was considered a portrait of Martin Luther by Hans Holbein the Younger, in the 19th-century it was considered a portrait of Verrocchio by Lorenzo di Credi. As it has small resemblance with Peruginos Self-portrait in Collegio del Cambio, Perugia, Offner, Camesasca and Pope-Hennessy identify Perugino.
