DescriptionLongdon Road Station Level Crossing - geograph.org.uk - 93426.jpg
English: Longdon Road Station Level Crossing. The site of the level crossing on the former Moreton-in-Marsh to Shipston-on-Stour branch, right on the southern edge of the square. The station was to the left in the bushes however the site of the level crossing can be seen by the hump in the roadway and the two surviving cast iron gateposts in the new fence on the right. The former crossing keepers cottage seems to have survived as a small annex of a much larger complex of housing built on the old railway formation.
