DescriptionLong Hollow near Braceby - geograph.org.uk - 155207.jpg
English: Long Hollow near Braceby
This old country road follows the line of a Roman road, King Street, from Northampton via Bourne, TF0921 in the south to Ermine Street in SK9742, near Ancaster.
This part of the route is a metalled road but some of it is a rough track or just footpaths.
There is evidence of 3rd and 4th century pottery kilns at Bourne and this was an old trading route to the main London to York thoroughfare of Ermine Street.
