Summary

Description A Trans World Airlines Lockheed L-1649 Starliner (civil registration N7301C) in flight in the late 1950s or the early 1960s, during a test flight. Note the flight test pitot boom attached to the right wingtip. This aircraft was written off after an accident at Bogotá-Eldorado Airport, Colombia, on 18 December 1966, while in service with Aerocondor de Colombia. 17 of 59 passengers and crew were killed.
