Summary

Description
English: Location of olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) within the olfactory system. Olfactory neurons extend axons from the nasal cavity through the cribriform plate and make connections within the glomeruli with mitral cells. OECs ensheathe the olfactory axons, aiding their growth and directing them to form their connections.
