| Description |
English: Lloyds TSB war memorial at 25 Gresham Street, London, UK. The memorial was dedicated in 2004 (when the banking group was still known as Lloyds TSB before the demerger in 2013) to replace the main memorial which was moved from Lombard Street in London to Canons House in Bristol. The stone stele at left bears the inscription "WE WILL REMEMBER THEM", with the stele at right bearing the inscription "In remembrance of all employees of Lloyds TSB Group who have given their lives in times of conflict". The floor stone inscription is: "For your tomorrow, We gave our today". |
