English: Llandovery railway station building. A notice on the wall proudly proclaims the 150th anniversary of Llandovery station in 2008. The station was opened in 1858 by the Vale of Towy Railway company as the terminus of a branch from Llandeilo. The station is now part of the Heart of Wales line from Swansea to Shrewsbury.
