Llandovery Town Hall by Richard Kyke Penson. 1857-8. Courtroom over an open market. Italianate in style. Two storeys with open arcades. At rear, police cells with iron grilles and entry to courtroom (now used as a library) under library. Lloyd T, et al 2006, Buildings of Wales: Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion pg 258.
