Description

Canarium urceus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Palawan, because of the extensive sand and coral flats off its East side, has a lot of these, in a range of colours. Some may be of different species, but I can't be bothered just now to sort them out.

They use their 'foot' to jump out of the sand.
