Description
English: Lime kilns and chimney The traditional lime kilns were replaced by a Hoffmann Kiln with its brick chimney. Technology had moved on even before its completion in 1899 and it closed in 1914 with the advent of war. The manufacturing process was labour intensive and particularly unpleasant.
