English: Lifeboat station. At Cart Gap. After the lifeboat slipway/access ramp to the beach below Happisburgh disappeared in 2003, with the lifeboat loosing its access to the sea, it is now based here - a mile down the coast at Cart Gap. The RNLI station at Happisburgh is still manned by volunteers most of the time, and open for teas and the sale of souvenirs > 799615. Lacking the funds for costly repairs, local authorities have decided to let nature run her course. See also > 799603. As evidenced in this photo of the access ramp, taken in 2005 > 34233 nothing has changed since. See also > 799606 and 799613.
