English: A 276 bus swings into Lee Conservancy Road. Demolition is imminent of this famous landmark. The 236 bus also enters Lee Conservancy Road here, but from the right. The 178 used to traverse this route until 1971, using the ***** RLH lowbridge bus. (*****supply synonym for overworked ICONIC). See here for internal shots from a guerrila photographic expedition. Those people are really great social and industrial historians. |
