Summary

Description

Lentinula lateritia (Berk.) Pegler

Image location: Swans Crossing State Forest, New South Wales, Australia

I have only been able to find a Boletus that is similar to these. I know this doesnt help but any input or thoughts would be nice. Swans is a Eucalyptus and Subtropical forest. The area has high rainfall when not in drought. Canopy is only medium and the area has had sections logged and there is a fair amount of dead timber on the forest floor.
