Summary
| Description |
English: Discharging a Leyden jar with a discharger. This is a U-shaped piece of conductive metal with insulated handles. It is used to avoid a painful electric shock. The discharger is touched to the outer foil of the jar, then the other end is brought near the central terminal. A spark jumps, discharging the voltage difference between the outer and inner foils. |
