Explanation of symbols: A=first base, B=second base, C=third base, H=catcher, L=left field, M=center field, R=right field, P=pitcher, S=shortstop.

Play by play, from scorecard--FIRST: grounder to 2nd, grounder to second, fly ball to short. SECOND: grounder to short, "foul bound" out to catcher, grounder to 2nd. THIRD: fly ball to center, grounder to short, grounder to 3rd. FOURTH: "foul bound" out to catcher, fly ball to first, "foul bound" out to catcher. FIFTH: right fielder throws out batter-runner at first, strikeout, fly ball to first. SIXTH: grounder to pitcher, grounder to second, strikeout. SEVENTH: strikeout, fly ball to catcher, fly ball to third. EIGHTH: strikeout, grounder to third, fly ball to shortstop. NINTH: fly ball to right, strikeout, grounder to short.
