Description
Français : Cette peinture de Philippe Mercier (1689-1760) datant de 1725 montre Lord Tyrconnel (à gauche) et sa femme (assise, car invalide), ainsi que la cousine de Lady Tyrconnel et son mari, devant la façade Sud de Belton House, la demeure de campagne des Tyrconnel, dans le Lincolnshire. Le visage de l'artiste peut être aperçu en bas à gauche. C'est l'une des premières fêtes galantes en Anglettere, un style de peinture du XVIIIème siècle.
