Description
English: Dihybrid inheritance using the example of coat colour genetics in cattle: Genes for coat colouring and genes for the spotting are inherited independently of each other: P-generation: Each parent has a dominant and a recessive trait, each of them homozygous. F1-Generation: according to the uniformity rule all offspring are equal in genotype and phenotype and show only the dominant traits black and solid fur colour. F2 generation: The fur colours and the spotting or solid coat are inherited independently of each other. All allele combinations are possible. Average ratio of phenotypes 9:3:3:1.
