Description
English: Laurie Inkster (1897–1955) was a well-known Greymouth businessman who became interested in hobby film-making in his youth and occasionally filmed significant events such as the 1929 Greymouth Diamond Jubilee Parade and the 1932 Grey River floods. He joined the photography studio of James Ring in 1924; the firm was known as Ring and Inkster until Ring's retirement in 1939.
