DescriptionLast days of the old Shrubhill tram depot - geograph.org.uk - 1839315.jpg
English: Last days of the old Shrubhill tram depot, near to Edinburgh, Great Britain.
Just as the new Edinburgh trams (well, technically a 'light railway') are about to make their debut, this old derelict tram depot from 1898 is ready to bow out of history. Originally the tramway workshops, it was used until recently as a garage for Lothian Buses. An adjacent power station housed the engines required to haul the cable cars.
