English: Lanesborough Hotel, formerly St George's Hospital. Built in 1719, it became St George's Hospital in 1733, intended to be in the fresh air of the countryside of the village of Knightsbridge. It was rebuilt in 1827. Its location on Hyde Park Corner is now on one of the busiest road junctions in London, and the hospital has moved to Tooting. The Artillery Memorial can be seen in front of the hotel.
