Summary

Description
English: Site plan of the 1972 proposals for the estate connected with walkways at first floor level. Lancaster West Estate. The finger blocks with the internal walkways and Grenfell Tower were completed in Phase 1, but the plan was abandoned and the walkway network (and the light blue buildings) never completed. An alternative plan was adopted. Map sourced from Contantine Gras
