DescriptionLambeth River Fire Station - geograph.org.uk - 832587.jpg
English: Lambeth River Fire Station This pier, just upstream of Lambeth Bridge, is the main operating base of the London Fire Brigade's river division. It is accessed by the gangway off Albert Embankment. Moored at the base is the 'Firedart', a fireboat that is used for a variety of types of river incidents, including rescuing people stranded in the river, fires on boats, crashed boats, and riverside property on fire.
Lambeth Bridge and the Houses of Parliament are in the background.
