Summary

Description
English: Ancient Siva Temple. This 11th-century temple has a square plan sanctum in the sarvatobhadra style (open on all four sides). It is yet another illustration of pre-Islamic era trefoil stone arches, but one which is one of the best preserved in Jammu and Kashmir. The roof is pyramidal and has two tiers. The lalatabimba are prominent on all four sides – one shows Lakulisa, another Nataraja, third shows Sadashiva, fourth shows six armed Natesa. Inside the sanctum is a Shiva linga.
