[direndam selama 4 jam sebelum direbus]
1 kg ikan tongkol
500 ml santan kelapa
50 gm belacan
Garam dan gula secukup rasa

Bunga kantan [dihiris halus]
Daun kesum [dihiris halus]
Pucuk gajus [dihiris halus]
Kacang panjang [dihiris halus]
Timun [dihiris halus]
Kubis bulat [dihiris halus]
Bawang besar [dihiris halus]

Cara memasak:
•Rebuskan ikan tongkol sehingga betul betul masak.
Selepas itu hendaklah dikisar sehingga hancur.
•Masukkan ikan yang telah dikisar tadi kedalam santan kelapa. Masukkan belacan dan asam keping. Biarkan mendidih serta masukkan perasa secukupnya.
•Hidangkan bersama bahan-bahan sampingan yang telah dihiris halus.
•Untuk menyediakan sambal cili, campurkan cili merah dan cili padi, tumbuk sehingga lumat.
Hidangkan laksa Kelantan bersama sambal cilu, sedikit belacan dan asam limau.
