May 30, 2020 - Ruins of several business destroyed by arson near the intersection of 27th Avenue South and East Lake Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States in the aftermath of rioting from the death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, while in police custody. The multi-level structure at right is the former meeting hall of the Odd Fellows ("IOOF") fraternity, 3003 27th Avenue South, that was constructed in 1909. By 2020, the historic structure was the location of several minority-owned business. During rioting on the night of May 28, an explosion was heard by occupants of the building. It burned down around 2:30 a.m. on May 29 and suffered a structural collapse.
