Description |
Cover page of the souvenir program from the Broadway show, Laffing Room Only (1944) |
---|---|
Source |
The image came from the actual souvenir program; however, there is no copyright information and no credit is shown; presumably it was published by Olsen & Johnson. Olsen died in 1960 and Johnson died in 1961; immediate source: Scan from my personal theatre collection. |
Date |
Judging from the names of the cast members, the program appears to date from 1944. |
Author |
Nowhere in the program is any author noted. The entire souvenir program is in the public domain. The authors have been dead for 60 years, so it is even in the public domain in countries that do not apply the rule of shorter term. |

This work is in the public domain because it was published in the United States between 1929 and 1977 inclusive, without a copyright notice. Unless the author has been dead for several years, it is not in the public domain in countries that do not apply the rule of the shorter term for US works. This includes Canada, China (not Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan Area), Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, and other countries with individual treaties. See also further explanation. |
