Silhouette of the Liberty Statue on the 1st Avenue bridge in downtown Cedar Rapids. This statue was a gift to the city by the Boy Scouts of America. I don't know if it survived the flood as the Cedar River was flowing over the bridge and only part of the handrails were visible when the river crested.
Taken with a friends SMC Pentax-M 28mm f3.5 lens on 06/10/2008 two days before the rivers historic crest.
