Summary

Description

Everybody loves a baby and this wee one is a bouncer if ever there was one! A photo for many with a hat for our friend in Quebec, a baby for those who love children and a title for those who love to research "the peerage" and their connections!

On the latter, our intrepid Flickroonies did not disappoint. And not only were we reminded of the images in the collection of the his aunts, uncles, and grandparents (see comments), we have confirmation that the baby pictured is (or would be) the politician and diplomat Frederick Edward Neuflize "Eric" Ponsonby, 10th Earl of Bessborough DL (1913–1993). It is suggested that he is pictured here (in his first year) with his mother Roberte, Countess of Bessborough , Viscountess Duncannon (1892–1979).
