English: Labyrinth spider (Agelena labyrinthica) female in web funnel, Blankaart Nature Reserve, Diksmuide, Belgium. Focus stacked from 17 images. The spider has lost one leg which is traped in the web funnel. These spiders construct an underground nest for their young. If the adult dies before the spiderlings leave the nest, they will eat her body.
