Description The de La Porte arms (actually the first and third quarters with the olive tree argent on a field of purpure is for La Porte, the seashells quartering them belong to Pellerin).

Author Engraved by Ferdinand de La Porte, bishop of Carcassonne, as a bookplate, in 1793 (his mother was Marie-Anne Pellerin, a family that became extinct with the death of her brother Joseph II, hence the quartering).
