Description
Français : La Déposition de croix fait intervenir une douzaine de personnages disposés en petits groupes : en haut à gauche, Nicodème et Joseph d'Arimathie tenant le marteau qui lui a permis d'arracher les clous de la croix ; saint Jean, représenté comme un jeune adolescent, soutient le Christ par les épaules tandis que la Vierge, entourée des trois Marie, soulève légèrement le bras de son fils. Les quatre personnages, dans la partie supérieure, à droite, ne sont pas clairement identifiables, à l'exception peut-être du personnage casqué, probablement le soldat romain Longin, qui donna le coup de lance au côté gauche du Christ.
