Italiano: LA CORTE DI LUDOVICO IL MORO di Giuseppe Diotti (1823). A partire da sinistra: un paggio apre la porta al segretario Bartolomeo Calco. Al centro della scena sono seduti il cardinale Ascanio, la duchessa Beatrice e il duca Ludovico, cui Leonardo da Vinci sta mostrando il progetto per l'affresco del Cenacolo. Intorno a loro sono riconoscibili alcune altre grandi personalità della corte: a sinistra Bramante parla col matematico Fra' Luca Pacioli; a destra il musicista Franchino Gaffurio, che legge uno spartito, il poeta Bernardo Bellincioni, incoronato d'alloro, e lo storico Bernardino Corio, con sotto braccio la sua Historia di Milano.
English:THE COURT OF LUDOVICO IL MORO by Giuseppe Diotti (1823). From the left: a page opens the door to the secretary Bartolomeo Calco. At the centre of the scene are seated Cardinal Ascanio, Duchess Beatrice and Duke Ludovico, to whom Leonardo da Vinci is showing the project for the fresco of the Last Supper. Around them are some other great personalities of the court: on the left Bramante speaks with the mathematician Fra' Luca Pacioli; on the right the musician Franchino Gaffurio, who is reading a score, the poet Bernardo Bellincioni, crowned with laurel, and the historian Bernardino Corio, with his Historia di Milano under his arm.
