Summary

Description
English: Line diagrams and 3D ball-and-stick models of ʟ-alanine and ᴅ-alanine. Each stereoisomer of alanine is labelled with the the traditional levorotatory (ʟ-) and dextrotatory (ᴅ-) notation in addition to the standard R/S notation based on Cahn-Ingold-Prelog priority rules.
