Description Jeonju Hyanggyo is a Confucian school that was established during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and was rebuilt at its present Jeonju site in 1603. There are a total of 99 rooms at the hyanggyo. The memorial enshrinement, Daeseongjeon, is in the front, while the lecture hall, Myeongyundang is in the rear. This style of building arrangement is very rare for a hyanggyo. Designated historical treasure No. 379.
