DescriptionKorea-Gyeongju-Poseokjeong site 3832-06.JPG
Poseokjeong (Pavilion of Stone Abalone) water feature was built in the Silla period on the site of a former royal pavilion. During banquets in the last days of the Silla kingdom, the king's official and noble guests would sit along the stream of water channeled through the blocks of granite, chatting and reciting poetry, while cups of wine were served up floating along in the water. Poseokjeong was designated as historic site No.1
