Description Geumtapsa is at the base of Mount Cheondeungsan in Goheung county originally dates to the 7th century when it was built as a branch of Songgwangsa Temple. One of the more prominent featuers is Natural Monument no. 239, the nutmeg forest that surrounds the temple.
