DescriptionKombi in Taxco showing passenger door.jpg
English: A Kombi in Taxco provides mass transit from the Zócalo to whatever distant point they take for a modest fare. There is no door to close where passengers enter, and metal benches provide seating for however many can fit. Passengers hand the fare to the driver and call out "baja" when they want to stop. At this time, many Kombis had windshields decorated with shoe polish writing indicating their destination, compact discs for their shiny facets, beads and other things hanging from the mirror, and other sorts of decorations.
