English: In a conversation held earlier this week, IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Aviv Kohavi, and his Japanese counterpart, General Koji Yamazaki, discussed the implications of the COVID-19 outbreak; sharing lessons learned combating the pandemic. In addition, the two senior officials explored opportunities for future defense cooperation.
Israel-Japan relations are based on both countries’ strong will to further develop cooperation to achieve and cultivate mutual goals and interests.
