Deutsch: Kliffküste unmittelbar nördlich des Cabo de São Vicente, des südwestlichsten Punkts Portugals. Das Kliff besteht aus unterjurassischen dolomitischen Kalksteinen.[1] Das Eiland im Bildmittelgrund ist der Pedra das Gaivotas („Möwenfelsen“), die dahinter sichtbare Landspitze im Bildhintergrund ist die Ponta do Telheiro.
English: Coastal cliff immediately north of Cape St. Vincent (Cabo de São Vicente), the southwestern-most extremity of Portugal. The cliff consists of Lower Jurassic dolomitic limestones.[1] The small island in the midground is the Pedra das Gaivotas (“seagull’s rock”), the headland which is visible behind it in the background is the Ponta do Telheiro.
