English: Kings Langley: Wind turbine RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd) purchased the old Ovaltine Egg Farm site in 2000, and converted the former chicken rearing house into a zero emissions building. The building is now named Beaufort Court and is RES's headquarters office. The building and the 225kW wind turbine were commissioned in November 2003, and the turbine has generated about 500,000 kWh of energy in the three years since. Also visible are a photovoltaic / thermal solar array set in the bank on the right side, and a biomass crop in the field. RES's website is here http://www.res-ltd.com/
