Summary

Description Kings Cross "Top Shed" on a drizzly day I recollect was in about May 1963. What a scene with two A4's, an A1, an A3, a V2 and a 9F visible. Amazingly, just a month later Top Shed was closed and steam banished from the southern part of the East Coast Main Line. I had first visited Top Shed a year earlier when it was packed with pacifics - but without a camera! Oh woe is me. Scanned photo from one of mine taken with a mere Brownie 127 - hence doubtful quality!
