ଓଡ଼ିଆ: ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ସ୍ଥିତ ଖାରବେଳଙ୍କ ନିର୍ମିତ ଖଣ୍ଡଗିରିର ହାତିଗୁମ୍ଫାରେ ଥିବା ଶିଳାଲେଖ । ଏଥିରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଓ କୁଟିଳ କଳିଙ୍ଗ ଲିପିରେ ପଥର ଉପରେ ଖୋଦାଯାଇଛି । ଏହି ଶିଳାଲେଖର ଲେଖ ସମୟକ୍ରମେ ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଯାଉଛି । ଛବିଟି ମୂଳ ଶିଳାଲେଖର ଫଟୋ ଉପରେ ଆଧାର କରି ଆଲେକଜ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡର କନିଙ୍ଗହାମଙ୍କ ରଚିତ କର୍ପସ ଇନଷ୍କ୍କ୍ରିପ୍ଟିନମ ଇଣ୍ଡିକାରମ ବହିର ପ୍ରଥମ ଖଣ୍ଡ, ଇନଷ୍କ୍ରିପସନ୍ସ ଅଫ ଅଶୋକରୁ ନିଆଯାଇଛି । ୧୮୨୭ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ମୂଳ ବହିର ପର ସଂସ୍କରଣମାନ ଯାହା ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାଶକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଏହି ଶିଳାଲେଖ ଓ ତାହା ବାବଦରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କୌଣସି କାରଣରୁ ରଖିନାହାନ୍ତି । ଲଣ୍ଡନର ବ୍ରିଟିସ ଲାଇବ୍ରେରିରେ ଥିବା ମୂଳ ବହିରୁ ଏହି ଛବିଟି ସ୍କାନ କରାଯାଇଛି ।

For some reason, this image and the detailed description of Kharabela's inscriptions in multiple revisions of this book published by other publishers have been discarded. This image is scanned at the British library from the original book. |
