English: Khanom chip (Thai script: ขนมจีบ): the Thai version of the Chinese steamed dumplings called siumai in Cantonese. The colour indicates the filling: the green dumplings contain a mix of minced pork and crab meat, the others have a filling of only minced pork. It is served with deep-fried chopped garlic, some fresh greens and herbs such as coriander, and with Chinese black vinegar. This particular dipping sauce is a mix of Chinese black vinegar and mushroom sauce.
