Description

Prosthemadera novaezealandiae

English: Tui (Adult and young). A pair of tui seen in profile perched on branches with native clematis in flower. The nearer adult bird shows its full range of plumage colour and a wattle. The younger bird has no wattle and is mostly grey in plumage, with blue on its wings only.
