Description |
View on a rectangular polo field with groups of Indians seen from a high perspective from outside the wall. Top center a raised, white, covered stand containing 31 Indians (including the Marahana) and three dutchmen. Johan Ketelaar sits in front of the king. He is dressed in a black hat, a red coat with gold stripes and green boots or pants. To his left a servant stands dressed in a dark blue uniform. To the left of the white stand a smaller stand covered by a canopy containing six dutchmen and seven Chinese soldiers in Dutch uniform with pikes as well as two Indians. The dutchmen are dressed in red coats, blue pants and black hats. The Chinese soldiers are wearing caps instead of hats. Under the smaller stand are standing in a semicircle: four dutchmen and 17 Chinese soldiers with pikes. To the left of the dark clouds of smoke. To the right of them (center left) fighting elephants and an elephant chasing horses. In the center a white platform, widened at the top, with inscription, on top of which a man is sitting. |
