English: Kenfig Castle Kenfig castle was once an important Norman castle, built in the first half of the 12th century. It was an administrative centre and as a result, a village grew in its vicinity.
A series of storms in the mid 13th century engulfed the village and castle in sand dunes - all that remains now above the dunes is then castle's keep.
