Description
English: The Unfinished Cross is one of the five high crosses in Kells, County Meath, Ireland. It is unfinished because the Vikings made off with the craftmen, before they had carved the panels. This is the eastern face.
Behind, we see the Round Tower from the 10th, with its 6 floors and 26 meters high.
Français : La Croix inachevée est l’une des cinq hautes croix de Kells, ville irlandaise du comté de Meath. Elle serait inachevée car les Vikings auraient emmené les artisans, avant qu’ils n’aient pu sculpter les panneaux. C’est ici la face est.
Derrière, on voit la tour ronde du Xe siècle, avec ses six étages et ses 26 mètres de haut.
