DESCRIPTION
"Most of the few surviving former residences on West Street were associated with the Colony family. Those that remain are among the most impressive buildings in Keene. Situated behind and surrounded by green landscaping, they provide a huge contrast with modern construction."
[As I type this, I am sitting in the upper left hand corner of this building! The Library has had several additions since this photo was taken, but still retains its original mansion character, inside and out.]
